2. Getting kinda sad that as school starts next week, I'm not going back or starting a job yet. :( Was even kind of mopey about not getting school supplies...how sad is that?? :p

1) Made it through another first day of classes and feel like there is light at the end of the tunnel...a very long tunnel but I can see a speck of light.:p

3) Found out another friend of mine has serious breast cancer and is having surgery Thursday. Too many 40 year olds dying and the medical community is doing nada who is gonna raise all these women's babies!!!!!!<rant over>

1. Still feeling kind of sick after last night's events. Brother and his friends were up at a BMX bike park by Green Bay and brother got into a collision with one of them around 9 last night. Luckily my brother only got minor bruises and a couple of cuts, but the friend was not so lucky. Boke a bone in his face, cut his forehead (exposing his skull) and required 43 stitches across the forehead and under his eye.

2. Not sure what I have planned for today. Just woke up. :o

3. Need to return a book that I borrowed from a friend. Also need to make several phone calls.

3) I got my AA degree certificate in the mail. Funny how holding one thin sheet of paper makes all the time spent studying during the past 2 years worth it!

1. Just returned from the library with my weekly stash of DVD's and books. The library clerk was kind of flirting with me...he just graduated high school...what is it with me and younger guys??

2. Am in a bit of a jam with the sofa I put a down payment on back in late April. They are breathing down my neck to get it out of their warehouse. I only have until the end of October to get a job and get my own place for the sofa! :eek:

3. My cousin is coming here to WI on a business trip the week of the 15th. I am so excited to see her, and will probably go spend one of the nights with her! She normally lives 500 miles away and we only see eachother 2x/year.

2. Got to do one of my most favorite things in the world last night--go dancing. Wore the miniskirt, too. ;)

My folks took us on an outing when we were kids. My father wanted to wash the car first and I left my window down a fair amount :) I got soaked but my memory was getting a new outfit at the mall. I wasn't traumatized at all.

1. Have to go to work soon for the sixth day in a row but I have a feeling it will go by quickly.
2. I'm going to spend a lot of the day reading but will fit in housework, errands, too.
3. I don't understand how Tyler can watch NASCAR for 600000 hours on Sundays.

3. Went out for drinks later that night with the birthday girl's mother and other friends. Got a glimpse of one of our ex-hockey goalies at the bar and now I've decided I want to go looking for him next weekend!

1. My husband is having a particularly stressful last few days, and, as a worrywart, I'm concerned about him. Lots and lots of work and little sleep are not a good combination.

2. I drove home from friends yesterday with two sleeping children--MUCH different than when I drove there Friday. Ahhhh....peace.

3. I am feeling very appreciative of my Pixies friends today...especially a certain one or two of them.

Yes I did and cleaned up the kitchen while doing it! It literally came out of the blue but I did not bat an eye.


He was asking because he thought you could only make babies if you were married and he is now seeing proof that isn't so. So's I goes, You know how boys have penises and girls have vaginas? Well when the boy puts his penis in the vagina it makes a baby.

I goes, well a man can shoot stuff called sperm out of his penis and it combines with something ( when you tell a kid egg they think chicken) in the lady and it starts growing a baby.

1. I signed a lease for a one bedroom apartment today that is SO much better compared to the student housing I had during school. It's about halfways between my job and my parents' house. Hmm... :rolleyes:

1. I'm starting a three-day work week today (next week will be a six-day one so it'll make up for it).
2.I have to find a family doctor but just read a depressing article about how some doctors are refusing you if you're going to be a "high-maintenance" patient. I don't consider myself high maintenance but i think it's wrong what doctors are doing. Blame lies with the government, too.
3. I missed the garbage truck this morning.
