The key to the one I wanted was the windows--lots of 'em. The smaller ones don't have much in the way of windows. So I'll be staying in the garage. I'm so mentally & physically exhausted from this still-continuing moving that I can't even find power to bitch about how lousy my end-of-year holiday is.

I remind myself that I'm still healthy enough to power myself to make this move happen under my own steam, on top of getting a good and cheaper spot to move to on the last penny of this month's paychecks and that I shouldn't be bitching about anything at all.

I AM FINISHED WITH THE MOVE! Thank Buddha! Carting brickloads of shit down and then back up three flights of stairs TWICE in one week on no energy from breakfast and barely any good sleep is not something I want to experience again for a LOOOOOONG time!

All expenses together, it cost me nearly $500 doing the move when I thought it'd only cost me $200, but because of the month-long stress involved with getting my life back on track and the physical backbreaking that went along with sorting, packing and moving, it was WORTH IT. Plus, I gave my biz to a local guy instead of a large company.

Because of my new roommate's deliciously HUGE television in "our" living room, I almost feel like saying fuck it to doing the bar thing and just watching anime movies all night long into the new year. But I don't really have anything to drink at home, so...

I have way too many shoes, I should consider getting rid of some of them (after I unpack them in a few weeks!)

I'm really trying to limit my spending these days and it's not working well at all. Instead I seem to be buying really expensive things.

My "date" reneged on me...now trying to decide if I should just take my ass home or go out anyway after I leave work in a minute. I'm kinda split down the middle. I haven't seen a friend of mine who's working the counter tonight at my spot in a long while, buuut...

...if it's too cold outside, I'll probably head home. There is nothing special going on tonight I need to get buzzed for from going out. And I have this suddenly free bottle of wine that'll go real good with a movie. I also wanna buy something for myself tomorrow that not paying for a dinner makes it easier to do now.

I sympathize with Maddy on that overspending thing. I try my best to limit it to things I need to use (art supplies) or enjoy for my soul (movies, comix, erotica, porn), but the nightlife is trying to pull me back into its boozy bosom...

I wanted to go to a bookstore before work today and since my travel time is extra now, I really have to step out early to make places on time...but I was so deep in the horny zone this morning that I had to rub one out to a porn and then do a drawing. Feels good to get piling erotic energy out.

I didn't go out last night after all, but I feel like I cheated myself in getting greasy, meat-forward takeout on the way back home because I was too mentally tired to cook, but I shoulda stuck to my health-conscious goals. Then again, maybe the yang-centric* food is what made me especially horny today.

I don't have my next job yet - but I am 85% certain I'll have it finalized by next week

2. Helped another guy unload about 50-some bikes that were donated for charity and then delivered five trikes to a local children's home.

Ran into an old friend between bars and updated contact info, so I know now that I was meant to be fucking around last night instead of going home and being responsible.

Bought the extended DVD set of "I Am Legend" at Virgin. I only buy movies I really like enough to keep watching over and over...and I really liked that movie. Will probably watch it tomorrow when I my day off.

Last night at least three people hit me up for spare change when I got off the subway from work and it pissed me off because I could see these people are just being fucking lazy and not doing anything to significantly change their lives around. Begging for coins at night while you smoke and wear a leather jacket? What the hell are you doing during the daytime? How are coins helping you pay rent? People make me so angry sometimes.

I wanted to draw something new for St. Patty's Day as an avatar and sig piece, but the hangover ramifications of my past Saturday drunk made me squander my free time and I couldn't complete my ideas. So I think I'll recycle last year's tribute.

I don't know why it seems like I have no time at all for myself anymore. I do, but just to plan a day outside my home takes a huge brick of space/time and I have to make sure it accounts for something.

Yeeeesh, tell me about it! That crash was nuts. You know how HUGE those things are? Everytime I walk by one I have to stop and stare at them for five minutes just because it's like looking at a dinosaur. Because of the "new money" real estate expansion going on these last few years, they're EVERYWHERE. Making these stupid area rent-inflating high rises for rich people only. But since this recession popped off and significantly slowed their rolls, I can't wait until they go the way of the Dodo bird! (no offense meant to anyone working construction and needing the work)

I had a positive conversation with my boss at the radio station that involved the phrase "more hours than I will know what to do with"......
(Somehow I doubt that it means a full-time job, but more and regular hours will certainly be something that can't hurt my radio career)


I had lots of fun laughing at my boss at my "regular" job today, because she really is insane.

I also found out about another different "regular" job opportunity.

(so tell me, does anyone else think that all this might be some karma-thing paying me back for the summer I had 2 summers ago??? when I couldn't find work to save my ever-lasting life)
