1) No more eating meals in the family room. Meals are to be ate at a table.

I fried my external hard drive accidentally Tuesday night and had to buy a new one yesterday. Most of what I put on there was stuff I already had saved on discs. I didn't lose much except a lot of music files, some downloaded porny shit and the minor bits of creative graphic material stuff I had been accumulating to use since the end of January. I can gradually recoup everything, it's just fucking annoying to do so.

The above reminded me of the ephemeral quality of life and that nothing is permanent. I have to remind myself in staying sharp and focused.

I have to pull the night shift at my office tonight. I could've just said no and stood my ground since it wasn't my problem the shift wasn't covered when it was supposed to have been, not to mention it's my time off after my regular shift is over, but I didn't feel like dealing with a potential cold shouldering from my boss. Today I'm going to be helping with the surveying of the site - we are installing a couple new east-west lines so we can get some pits further out in the field than last year.

I'm also going to be helping to clean up the pits from last year - we had plastic sheets in the bottom of them but a ton of stuff grew under there, and the walls of the pits have collapsed, and they're basically one huge mess.

My oldest brother drowned on July 4 1987 at the age of 29. I personally found his body 5 days later at 5pm. Every year since at 5pm I drink a toast to my brother at 5pm.

Since today hasn't really started yet, this is about me from yesterday...

My love took me to a waterfall! We had to cross a river on foot because the bridge had fallen at some point in the last year! Now my work boots are soaking wet. :D

On the way back from the falls in his MG, the person in the vehicle behind us honked and flashed his lights at us when we took advantage of a red light to smooch! :o

I then watched a bunch of men prance around in their underwear, trying to beat each other up... At least the Canadian won! ;)
