I am home from Tahoe....and I finally understand exactly why it's so cool to live where I live. Within 3 hours I can get to the Sierras, 1 hr for Napa, 2 hours for Monterey, and 10 minutes (without traffic) to the City. Basically I have every type of climate, topography, and activity right at my doorstep

I leave to go to Ohio for a wedding and some family time on Thursday...not looking forward to the trip

I'm putting myself back on the strict diet for the next few days, to recover from vacation

I spent the better part of today and yesterday working.

I found a variety of apple farms yesterday closer to WI's neck of the woods. I found myself at two of them and with a lot of apples to eat. The farm that came recommended isn't the one I'd go back to again.

I accidentally left a few windows open over night, causing it to be extremely cold inside when I woke this morning. I fired up the furnace for about an hour, problem solved.

1 lost boy was horsing around and fell off the glider probably breaking his hand.

1 lost boy flushed my keys down the toilet and despite me making him glove up and go after them he could not retrieve them.

1 lost boy required me to wrangle him all the way around the classroom next door in order to use their lock down because their back door was locked. The same boy also once in lock down was discovered to have candy in one pocket and an entire bottle of gatorade in the other. This required me to then wrestle him for 25 minutes to remove said luxuries.

I have to hustle to make up for actually taking time off when I'm off.

1. Was very happy to spend some time with my best friend and his family over the weekend.

2. Hoping that my next trip to the doctor this coming Friday finally gets to the bottom of a pain I've been having in my right side ever since they took out my gallbladder about a year ago.

3. I woke up horny as hell this morning and the feeling never went away. Unfortunately there's nobody here to share that feeling with. :(

1 - Was suave and sophisticated when our friends unexpectedly dropped by. Hub was in a t-shirt and fuzzy fleece pants. I'm in a long t-shirt, fuzzy fleece pants, with an old "too short" sweatshirt that makes the t-shirt look like a skirt. They were in church formal. Good thing they like us for who we are. LOL

2 - Hub and I have has a good, peaceful day.

3 - We're missing our furkids. Last day at the kennels tomorrow. They will be groomed then. We pick them up around 5 PM.
