HAPPY BIRTDAY
PIXIES

:cake: :hb: :cake:
NOW THAT CALLS FOR A REAL CELEBRATION!

Gotta admit, though, I wish more of the ol' gang were still around posting. Often wonder about Grumble; Legend, Nikki, Lixy, IowaMan, IAKG, and others.Where they are ... how they're doing? Do they think back and remember us? :(

I am trying to remember all of the active members who where here when I joined about 9 and a half yrs ago on Labor Day weekend in 2001. There have been good times and bad times, fun times and sad times and Pixies just keep getting better.

That's it! What he said is what we are and what Pixies is to a lot of us. No question now that a Pixie Birthday thread needs to be anchored and an anniversary celebration of this magnitude needs to extend to all the special people that has cone through our lives at this turn.

Actually I was just thinking I should clear everyone's posts counts so we can start all over :p

Me, too, neither! I didn't know Pixies was 10 years old. We should get it a really cool new bike (http://mytrailerpark.com/DildoBike/DBike_files/2.jpg) --10-year-olds love bikes, right? ;)

I've been here since 2004...7 years now. I've had a lot of fun with the hubby and shared the photos here; I've had my spirits lifted and my confidence boosted by the folks here; I met a great love here; I was comforted by the kind people here who knew him, too, when I lost him. A kind-hearted bunch of pervs here that I am forever grateful to know.

That would be a

I do like to search things out *L* I knew it was definately a spark plug, nothing like modern ones, so looked up Antique spark plugs

Oldfart

PF,

Coal gas is a mix of hydrogen, CO and Methane, originally a by-product of coking coal for steelmaking. It was in use in Sydney up to the 70s, where it was bypassed largely by "natural gas" a topped petroleum gas.

In Britain during WW11, some civvy service vehicles were converted to run on coal gas (usually held in balloons attached to the roof of the vehicle). They were mainly delivery vehicles whose routes exceeded their fuel rations, but some doctors etc had them fitted to their cars.

Well spotted and researched Fang.

Ladies, gentlemen and PF of Pixiedom, we are comparatively mainstream.

This from the OZ national broadcaster's newsroom via Reuters.

Peeping Tom hides in portaloo

A man suspected of hiding inside the waste tank of a portable toilet at a yoga festival in the United States has been arrested on charges of unlawful sexual contact and invasion of privacy.

Luke Irvin Chrisco, 30, was arrested in the Colorado town of Vail, west of Boulder, after police there stopped his vehicle on reports of a man illegally begging in the area.

"An astute officer realised that he resembled the portable toilet suspect," Boulder police said on Friday (local time).

Boulder detectives were contacted, and after interviewing Chrisco, he was arrested for the portable toilet incident.

Police said the strange event occurred June 17 at the Hanuman Yoga Festival when a woman using the facility noticed movement inside the storage tank and asked a male bystander to investigate.

The man told police he saw someone inside the tank covered in a tarp.

A security guard waited outside the toilet for 10 minutes until a shirtless, barefoot man with numerous cuts on his back and legs emerged covered in feaces.

The guard tried unsuccessfully to apprehend him as he ran from the festival grounds.

Boulder police chief Mark Beckner said in a written statement that his department received a dozen tips on the suspect's identity.

Chrisco faces one count of unlawful sexual contact and one count of criminal invasion of privacy, both misdemeanours.

He is being held on a $US1,000 ($953) bond for the begging charge, and a $US1,500 bond for the alleged toilet offences.

Well, I did quite a bit of shooting today with some buddies from work. Had several 9 mm pistols, one 9mm carbine, an ar-15, a couple of .22's, and two .357's. It was fun, until we all started getting headaches from the ringing in our ears LOL.

Starters are generally fairly cheap and easy (at least for the Ford v8's). It's more or less just an inconvenience. Make sure they change the solenoid at the same time. It tends to be either one or the other, so might as well do both. Kind of like timing pumps and water belts.
