well... I think that if you really have no interest in her, then you need to let her know. Explain to her that your life is complicated and that you are dealing with mending your heart and until you have done that you aren't able to be with anyone. No doubt, no matter what, she would like honesty. Explain to her your sexual preference if you think that might help but only if you feel like you want to....

Smile sweetly, tell her you're taken and carry on.
No need to get complex, just gently definite.

Tell her you're flattered but she's too young, you're getting over someone . . . whatever version of the truth would be easier.

axe31---I feel your pain!Sometimes;people;just won't take no for
an awnser.Example:I was discharged;from the armed forces.I had gotten married;in another state.We moved back to Conn. after my discharge and I was;Christmas;shopping;in New Haven;
one day;with my cousin.An old girlfriend;followed my cousin&I;around;from store to store;dragging her current husband;with her.It was;very embarrassing;to me.I felt embarrassed;for her husband.Of course;my cousin;thought it was
hysterical!He is two years younger than me and he modelled himself after me.My advice;is to tell her(not hurtfully)immediately;
and hope that she reacts right.I know that I'll never forget that
day!It would be flattering;but not the way it occured! Irish

Axe, the fact that you are asking for help just goes to show what a sweetheart you are. You don't want to hurt her and you are looking for a good way to do that. The best thing is to be honest.
*hugs*

If you're going to get in a situation where that ind of mollifying action is neccessary, one should at least have some fun with it. Find a knife, and rub some dark red liquid, preferably viscous on it. Invite him/her around, and when they walk in, start licking it. Even money says they're out of there before the first words get said. And that's one of the basic methods...
