hmmmmmmm...makes you think doesn't it? I had always thought that the media exposure to this administration was an about face to the Clinton administration...and I do wonder why this info hasn't been plastered across the world?

People's attentions have been diverted from things happening in their own backyard by the war and I think that this administration likes that. Keep them diverted so they don't see what is happening right in front of their face tactic.

That stories just is not juicy enough for todays news lines. If he was having sex with the First Lady it would be front page other wise it is not that news worthy.

A guy directly associated with the administration offerred his self for $1200 on a gay millitary escort website~ what is not juicy enough about that????? Considering that hiring an illegal immigrant as a domestic, will make you virtually untouchable by an administration you'd think an administration would avoid someone who may have committed such obvious crimes as prostitution. Crazy

BTW the link I attached is to an article from the Op-Ed page of my paper so the article is certainly written with a bias so please consider that when you read it. I was just fascinated that this was going on and I had not heard a damn word.

I know you were just tossing out "Desperate Housewives" as a flippant example but to me, that show is a symbol of "middle" America.

That show allows people to eavesdrop on those who are acting on impulse. Ooh, how scandalous! People in real life would never act that way!

I've been following the Gannon story since before it became a story because "The Daily Show" made fun of that question he asked:

"How are you going to work with people who seem to have divorced themselves from reality?"

These are the questions Bush allows & welcomes.

They're the only ones he answers.

Bush may be the leader but he's surely not a statesman.

And my goodness, Bush won't allow gays to marry but he'll allow the enterprising ones with Web sites to pander to him.

Hmmm...to me "Desperate Housewives" is a farce and is nothing like what middle America looks like from my point of view. I question if there even is a "middle" America anymore. To me "Desperate Housewives" is no different than Dallas or Knots Landing etc.(any of those serial nightime soap opera type shows) People act on impulse all the time (regardless of their socio-economic standing)...we see the fall out of people doing that everywhere, here too. The consistently impulsive somehow expect everyone else to deal with the havoc they create. But I'm not sure that has anything to do with this situation.

The choices that were made to send this guy in were conscious choices. I just question their lack of judgement in not scrutinizing their choice. I personally don't care that he is gay or an ex-marine or to be honest that he was for sale...he's just prostituting for a different client now. What I think is odd is that who ever he is collecting his fee from now did not do their research. And that could have been an impulsive decision so maybe impulsivity does have it's place in this situation.

My fascination with this lies in why I am just now seeing it hit my local paper.
