I'm normally not the boastful, attention-seeking type, but I gotta share with somebody.
As of today, I've lost 32 pounds! I never thought I could do it. I still have a long way to go to reach my goal.

Unfortunately, after trying every program under the sun, I've gone old school. I cut back my calorie intake to about 1500 each day, try to make sure I eat a good variety of healthful foods. Even though I'm not a diabetic, my doc told me that it's a great idea to eat like one. So, I got all kinds of free stuff from the American Diabetes Association. Also, I do some kind of physical activity 6 days a week. Nothing fancy- resistence machines M-W-F, and stationary bike and treadmill every day except Tuesday at the local YMCA. I started the last week of January.
Blood pressure is in check, cholesterol levels are great, 10x the energy I used to have!

I started about a week before you and have lost 0 pounds. I work out with weights and cardio (bike and elliptical) at least 3 times a week and I eat within my WW points. I am diabetic and so I eat like one. I've got to figure out what to change.
I will think about bumping up excercise and bumping down calories again.
Thanks for the inspiration.

rtctfield, thats wonderful!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Lilith, Muscle weights more then fat.... Are you lifting weights more then burning calories? Inches lost or redistributed, might tell more then pounds lost?

That is amazing. Congratulations!!! You much feel so proud of yourself.
I just started on the metabolic research center program....according to them I'll be down 30 lbs in July. I wouldn't know how to act. Even tho, at my weight now I'm down 20 lbs from when I started pixies a million years ago.
Anyway, didn't mean to write all that about me......I came on here to congratulate you! Keep up the will power!
