It's been a thousand years since I had a really great burger. But it's almost too cold to schlep all the way to the better places to get one for takeout (most are downtown and I'm in midtown...and if I go downtown I might be seduced into drinking at my haunts which I don't need tonight) and I'll hate settling for just mediocre. When you've eaten something superior it's just not the same anymore. It's almost why I barely tolerate the takeout chinese place in my 'hood because it's okay in general, good when I'm really hungry and great when I'm really hungry and broke. But tonight I feel like I need something that will make me smile to eat, not just fill my stomach.
So maybe...that burger tonight. Maybe battling the cold is worth it.

This stomach virus I picked up is just kicking my ass so I guess it's a cup of mint tea and some instant ramen noodles for me tonight. Not sure if that will stay down but that's what I'm gonna try.

1 qt. chocolate milk
about half a box of Little Debbie Swiss Cake Rolls
6 Hostess Cupcakes
3 Three Musketeers bars
........ and I've got a pan of fudge brownies that is just about ready to come out of the oven. Toss a couple of scoops of mint choc. chip ice cream on those bad boys and my blood sugar should be so damn impressive for my doctor tomorrow that he brands me the biggest idiot he's ever seen. A really random assortment of veg stirfried in sweet chilli sauce that's far too hot for me, so I've added tomato ketchup to milden it. Although I've added so much ketchup it tastes like I've stirfried it in spicy ketchup. Also the most unhealthy sprouts you've ever tasted. Fried in lots of butter... Mmmm....
