They showed Santa's sleigh flying along (he's about half way across the Atlantic heading towards Goose Bay, Newfoundland) and behind him they had a graphic of two fighter planes following along. They said the planes were to make sure Santa gets to all of his destinations safely. Now, why do that on a 5pm newscast when you know parents all over are calling their kids in to see where Santa is at?
