Little micro ones now. They've got them at a local store for about $2.50 per 100 (up .50 from last year), and so we just replace strands that don't light each year rather than search for burned out bulbs.

Garlands on the tree or not?

Hang them on a door - but with the advent of e-cards we get fewer and fewer real cards every year

Both. My wife usually gets the real ones ready and I send e-cards to a number of people who either aren't on that list (because we don't have an address) or as my wife of being a little cuter than my wife would be.
