It was 28 C here about an hour ago. (That's 82 F.) It's down to 23 now... but wow, it's some nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

61F and raining. Actually didn't get much rain until this afternoon, so it didn't affect my going for a walk this morning. Glad for that.

Nice partly cloudy day, with a little wind, but as the sun went down turned to a driving rain (that I had to go out in, & got soaked)...

And then, of course, there was this little earthquake in the early hours that I managed to sleep thru, but I did hear & feel an aftershock late morning...didn't realize what it was until the wife told me about the trembler later...

The rain has started.

49F under fair skies right now. It's expected to reach 75F today with sunny skies.

79F and very muggy here right now.

There are tornadoes flying around a little bit to the north of here. Apparently there is one that has been on the ground near Waterloo for quite some time. They are reporting that it is at least a half mile wide with winds in excess of 150 mph. Looks like it is going to stay north of here though.

The bad news is that there's a storm forming in the south central part of Iowa now that apparently is going to produce tornadoes as well and it should be on path to be in this part of the state in a few hours.
