Great work Alias!
I went tothe Dr. this week and so far in 6 months I've lost 20 pounds. I have to lose 5 more to hit my first goal and it's been really slow lately. I've been busy and not putting my needs first at all.

I am gonna try and jump onto the weight loss boat. I started my diet today (I want to cry) but I want to look good for both bathing suit season and my wedding. *Crosses fingers* Here we go!

Did I mention that I am going to start again TODAY?
Good luck to everyone else too!

I am still plodding along, i've now lost 7.1kg
I have had some weeks where the loss has been minimal, and the last 2 weeks have been a bit higher, but as i am losing i am still very pleased with how its going.

Excellent. How have you been doing it? What is working for you?
I am at a stand still. I eat when I'm stressed. Food gives me pleasure and little else has lately so I turn to my old friend, the one killing me. I gained for a bit but am now back where I had gotten down to. I'm starting over. Every day is a new day to make better choices.

In large part because of surgeries ... I've dropped from 242 a year and a half ago to 198 the last time I weighed a couple of days ago. First time in years I've been below 200. Now, I'm determined to keep it off and even lose a bit more. I'd like to get down now to 180-185.

I've dropped some too. I hit my Spring Break goal last week. 2 months late but better late than never.

Have your sugars been at good levels lately Lilith? I've always heard that cinnamon helps to counteract sugar in the body so maybe you could talk to the doctor about that. I've even met people who've been able to drastically change their meds with just a little bit a cinnamon every day. Hope this helps and I'm planning to start my own weight loss postings here (I need to buy a scale first). Hope everyone is doing well and having fun doing it.
Oh and for a quick burst of energy, vitamin B-12 is one hell of a pick me up and is found in a mans semen. So, c'mon ladies and gents, it'll make you feel better.
Edit: almost forgot a few exercise related tips for those who are using weights or resistance bands:
1. Use your back, not your legs; the muscles in the back are the largest set in the human body
2. Hold your breath while you strain; the human body makes all the oxygen it needs in times of stress
3. Never use a spotter; knowing that if you can't lift that bar off your throat that no-one will is a great motivator
That's all I can think of now but I'll try to remember more for later.
