Hi today was 54f with rain and more fog. It is still 50f right now with falling temps later tonight and snow. IowaMan would you please keep the bad weather over there and not spread it around.

Yesterday it got up to 53F. Right now, it's 16F with light snow. It's no wonder there are so many colds going around.

Unfortunately, I don't think we got enough snow to last until Christmas ... but we'll see.

Not enough snow to last through Christmas huh DB? Boy, have I got a present for you!

I guess the best way to describe the weather here is sufficiently brutal. It's 6F for a temp and the winds are howling at about 25mph, they are saying the wind chill factor is -18F. I'm not exactly sure how much snow we got, not a whole lot probably around 4 inches but there's a drift about a foot deep in front of my front door.

It was 53 when I went to work at 7am. Within an hour the temp had dropped massively and then it tried to snow but the wind blew and is blowing so much that the snow is not sticking really. On my way home at 4:20 I saw a business clock temp that said it was 15. Weather Bug says it is 19 right now and wind gusts of 46.

Be nice if someone turned the fan off!!!

25F and cloudy right now. Only expected to reach 29F today with snow flurries likely. Got a dusting yesterday and so maybe ... just maybe ... we'll have a slightly white Christmas (which is suppose to get into the 40s and so it won't last too long).

A beautiful winter morning here today, finally. It's 26F and sunny and the winds finally died down.

Well, ok I guess it's partly cloudy.

31F and partly cloudy. Expected to reach 44F today finishing off what little is left of our white dusting for Christmas.

31F and cloudy right now. Looks like we've got more snow headed our way for the overnight. Not exactly sure how much to expect, they're saying the heavier stuff may stay a bit south of where I'm at so DB, you may end up with a bit of a white New Year's.

29F under cloudy skies right now. That's almost the low expected for tonight (28F). They're expecting 1-2" of snow through tomrrow morning, but it should rise to about 35F and so the snow won't last.

Since Christmas is over now, I'd say it can now turn 70F with warm sunshine.

I wish it was going to be 70F and sunny today.

But......... 26F with light snow at the moment and it looks as though we're going to get another 2 to 4 inches of the stuff today.

Currently 18F with light snow (although the wind chill is only 6F). It's going to be warming up, though ...

... to 19F.

How about that, the new year is starting off pretty much the same way over here DB.

Right now it's 12F and really windy (-13F wind chill). I'm not sure if it's still snowing or just blowing around though. We should be warming up to our high of 13F any minute now.

Of course, IowaMan, with you probably are 30 or 50 miles closer to the Artic Circle than me ... that probably accounts for the small temperature disparity.
