It's about 42F here right now but the wind is gusting up to about 35 mph so they're actually telling us what the wind chill factor is on the news.

In case you wondered, that's at 31F right now.

Tad bit on the chilly side here for our overnight. It's 14F right now and cloudy. Not going to be a fun Saturday around here I'm afraid. We're looking for 3-5 inches of snow followed by about 3/4 inch of ice afterwards.

Cheyanne is sending it to me and I'm afraid I'll end up passing it on over to DB, sorry bout that.

Yep, we're in line for some snow changing to freezing rain and later maybe just rain. Not quite as bad as IM is expecting, but I don't like ice. We were goingto a Special Olympics this morning in Peoria, but it got cancelled anticipating the weather.

According to the radar, it's snowing here right now. When I attempt to look out the window I get a bit different picture. Just a very tiny bit of snow thus far and there's a nice little layer of ice forming on everything.

We are in the calm before th storm right now. Later this evening we will start with sleet and freezing rain changing to rain, then snow followed by more sleet and ice through Sunday night into Monday morning. Wild morning at the grocery store!!!

We're coated in ice here. Not a thick layer, but enough to make the roads, driveways and sidewalks slick to be on. Went to a funeral at our church and I'm glad it's only a about a block and a half from our hourse. Car was iced over when we went, iced over when the service got over, then we had lunch at the parish hall and it was iced over again after that. Bah ... I'm ready for spring.

It's about as beautiful of a winter day as you could ask for here today. Nice and sunny, a fresh layer of snow, temps in the low 20F range and very little wind. It really is a beautiful day.
