I am hanging for tomorrow to get here as i seriously need my Glee fix!!
I am back at work and finding it a tad easier to get my jobs done due to being 17 odd kilo lighter
I had an absolute blast with a couple of my work mates today, we joked, laughed, argued like a married couple all day...was fun even if the work itself wasnt lol

I have to shovel a bit of snow again.
Going to the funeral home. The 16 year old daughter of a family friend died. They believe it was an aneurism. We are devastated.
I am tired and it isn't noon yet.

The family are obviously gutted, but they have their daughter, she departed from something beyond anyone's control and they have all the elements to grieve. Many families have none of these, as children disappear into the void.
It's a shit of a way to be lucky.

I think the worst was all of her friends. Moving like zombies. One poor girl simply couldn't go in. She sat out in the hall shaking her head. The director of the funeral home just knelt next to her, keeping her calm.
And now those poor families in Brazil....

Yep.
I sat with my mother for a while at the funeral home, and it was just pure sadness.
It was no longer my mother, and now that image dominates my mother's memories.

I held my friend while she held her dead child and now all I see when I see her are those horrible hours. The vacancy of not just the baby's soul but of the mother's as well.

That's for sure, Lilith. Even when expected, death always comes as something of a shock.

I didn't have to go to jury duty today....or tomorrow....but I am on call for Thursday.
I did have to go into Atlanta for a lame meeting about mattresses that I already knew all about.
My sweet, wonderful, amazing husband bought me the new Samsung Galaxy S2 for my Valentine/birthday gift.

1) Had a blowout argument with the Mrs about her out of control spending habits...again.
2) Enjoyed watching a basketball game with my son.
3) Hoping this will be an entertaining Super Bowl.
