I fell into a test pit today at work. It was deep to my waist - I'm lucky I didn't break anything! Damn tall grass was grown up all around it so I didn't see it. I'm gonna have a hell of a bruise on my knee though!

Today was the last day of my contract.

This was one of the most stressful work days I've had in a while.

I'm glad it's over.

I have some options for what I can do tonight, but none of them involve what I really wish to be doing.

I have lost some more weight and am 9 pounds from a really big goal and am trying to decide just how to celebrate.

Going to be in a fall parade this afternoon in a small nearby town.
We're going to a picnic at a friends farm after the parade.
Then, I've got to get back home to getting some work done.

I'm off work today, and am thrilled about it.

I'm going to spend the day relaxing.

This new tattoo is still pretty tender, but I love it.

I had a fantabulous weekend!!!!!!! We tried to visit two Parks Canada sites though, and both were closed due to power failures. Thanks, Earl...!

This afternoon Wilderness and I are going caving with a bunch of friends - yay!

I wish the friends I went roadtripping with on the weekend could have come caving too.
