I like grapefruits ... but love oranges. So ... the answer is ORANGES.

WIB, a free ticket to a pro baseball or one to a pro football game?

Hmmmmmm, free huh? Well, I've never been to an NFL regular season or playoff game so I guess I'd say............ nope, sit my butt down in Wrigley watching the Cubbies! They could be 30 games out of first place and there's still noplace I'd rather be that at Wrigley relaxing and watching a ballgame.

Which is better a hot dog at the ballpark or a steak at the Ritz?

As much as I love steak.

I just put a pack of four of the originals in the freezer for a bit later on. I do like the "crunchy" ones but hardly ever get them. I don't see any reason to mess with what already works.

Which is better hard or soft shell tacos?

I'm probably going "against" the grain here, but soft shell.

Easier to handle and not as messy.

Love 'em both but I've got to go with traditional. There's this little hole in the wall place back in Des Moines run by a Mexican family that served the absolute best food I've ever had. I went there four times while I was back there for the week over New Year's.

Which is better plain cheese pizza or one loaded with the works?

Used to be I'd say imported, but several domestic wines are really quite good.

That's a tough one but I'm going to go with Japanese simply because I've known Toyota owners who simply swear there aren't better cars on the planet.

Which is better 70 mph or 65 mph for speed limit on the Interstate?

Today with the ice it probably ought to be 30, but ... okay ... normally ... I'd say 65. (Of course if you say 65 ... then traffic will move 5 to 10 mph above that. Say 70 and they'll do the same.)

WIB, watching a favorite sports team win a game, or, seeing their most disliked opponent defeated?

Doesn't get better than your favorite team winning. I'd be lying if I said I didn't love to see the rival lose too though, and as often as possible.

Which is better scraping ice off the windshield or using an ice melting spray?

This morning, when we went outside, it had warmed and melted enough that the spray wasn't necessary. Normally I would have said the spray.

Ooooh, tough one. I guess I'll go with a flat tire since they've got that canned Fix-a-Flat stuff that you can use for a temporary fix.

Which is better doing the crossword in the Sunday paper or doing the one in TV Guide?
