I managed to be productive and get in some lusty, dirty picture-style artwork this morning before coming to work, despite being lulled into blissful slacker complacency underneath my warm bedsheets for yet another hour.

The noodle soup I got from my neighborhood takeout joint for lunch today is loaded with red chili oil. They know I like my stuff spicy, but they were pretty generous with the stuff this time. I'm starting to break out into a minor sweat.

Scallops are suddenly becoming my new crack. It's called either hotate or kaibashira in Japanese and is very very tasty in Asian-style tapas or gourmet dishes. Order yaki-hotate if you ever see it on a menu and you're not allergic to shellfish. I got the cheaper fried Chinese cousin version at the takeout joint and I'm making them my alternative to cheap fried chicken wings (my previous crack.)

I managed NOT to fall asleep last night on the subway coming home from a happy, drunken night out...

The new waitress at my hangout from last night has KILLER hips...and the fucked up thing is she probably knows it...

Amy Winehouse is my new hero...how in the fuck did I miss this woman last year? She's a shameless libertine who revels in her vices and demons like I wish I could and have tried many many times, only to come back to the sobering reality of responsibility...and her CD "Back To Black" sounds like it's from another place and time from someone who doesn't look like her at all.
