Thunderstorm passing through the area right now. From the weather map, looks like we may get another band in a little while. We do need the rain, so I guess that's okay, although I'd rather not have a thunderstorm. A soft shower would do nicely.

At 12:40am it's 62F with clear skies 100% HUMIDITY . High this Labor Day is expected to be 81F with sunny skies. I suspect that mix of temps and humidity lets a person sweat comfortably.

64F with clear skies at 1:30am. High today forecast to be 79F with sunny skies. Cool mornings with warm afternoons. Doesn't get much better than that.

64F and mostly cloudy at 1:30am climbing to only 68F today with cloudy skies. Actually rain is forecast from 2am until 1pm today and from the radar map it looks like a significant area is covered by rain clouds. So far, though, I haven't heard rain and often as the rain crosses first the Mississippi River and then the Illinois River … a lot of those clouds dissipate. A light shower would be okay, but we don't need a lot. recent rains have brought lawns back from brown to green, so we look in pretty good shape.
