When I woke up this morning, I had a very bad cough. I'm very congested and my throat hurts a lot. I am sick...and I need to be heavily medicated just to get through the day.

While getting dressed, I could not find one of my socks. It frustrated me greatly.

I emptied the dishwasher of the clean items and found a residue on several of my glasses. Rather than rerun the dishwasher, I elected to wash them by hand and my fingertips ended up wrinkley.

On the way to work, I ended up behind a large tanker truck that insisted on driving well below the speed limit. Adding insult to injury, oncoming traffic appeared at every passing zone.

It is hazy, hot and humid here today and the air conditioning is marginal at best. I'm quite uncomfortable in my office, and the heat is aggravating the poison ivy rash on my arms.

The office smells like burnt coffee because it's been on the burner too long.

Someone used the last of the hand towels in the restroom and did not open a new package.


I know what you're thinking...where am I going with all of this?
