Adding my condolences as well...not looking forward to the time (& I'm afraid it's coming soon) when I have to to commit the same ultimate act of love for my Luckster, I truly feel your pain...

A reprieve!!!
Ahem.
Dan came over & we were in the kitchen talking about the dog's visit to the vet. The dog was in the middle of us & CLUNK! A chicken bone fell out.
He hadn't let me near his face & I didn't want to hurt him so I was waiting for the vet visit. ALL THIS TIME, the frigging dog was walking around with a bone in his tooth!! Ahahaha, I feel stupid.
Thanks everyone. I know it'll only be a matter of time before I have to do it but it looks like it won't be tomorrow.

I just called the vet to cancel the appt. & the woman who answered the phone said there was no record of an appt. Weird!
Did Solon learn his lesson? Nope! Last night, he was still trying to eat chicken bones from the sidewalk.  |

Tell Solon that I recommend you put him on a straight T-bone steak diet.
That should cure him of wanting chicken bones. |
