I asked a group of friends that were sitting around th efire last night.
Top issues concerning Toilet Paper
1) That it is there
2) That it does not resemble something like sandpaper or wax paper.
3) That you don't have to collect the the TP before entering.
4) That used toilet paper is no where to be seen or smelt.
5) that it is not wet from the shower the person before you just had.
I personally have found that it works equally well taken from either the top or the bottem.

I've always put it over in the past. With the ends folded nicely to a point, like an envelope. Marriage changed that.
With the birth of our first child, it became necessary to hang it so that it drapes under, so when he came along and spun the holy hell out of it the entire roll wouldn't empty into a two foot high pile on the floor.
Now that we have three children...it's either on the window sill, the countertop, the shelf across the way, or my favorite place...the back of the toilet, where one has to treat the toilet seat like a sit & spin just to reach the damn thing!

Over...the prob with it being under it can too easily be spun down too much and touch the floor!

Over!
If it's under, you sometimes have to touch the wall or holder behind the TP...creepy.

I put it over......he puts it under...and I put it over when I see he's put it under! He does the opposite of nearly everything I do......folding clothes (he folds t-shirts with the front in...I fold them out).....putting trash bags in the can (he just puts one in there and doesn't snap it open....I open it so the first things you put in don't bounce out).....oh I could go on and on......but I digress.
If I try and tolerate an "under" TP roll...and just go with the flow.....I get more paper than I really need and I feel wasteful.......if I put it over.....I can stop it at as many squares as necessary to do the job! But.....that might be a little TMI....huh?
