I was thinking that maybe being a multi-billionaire would be nice. Nothing too fancy ... yachts, estates, huge portfolio's, endless vacations. You know, the run-of-the-mill billionaire stuff.
But, as I grew older I realized that with all those distractions I would miss the best part of life ... Pixies Smut Game Player. So, I decided to forego those early childhood goals.

Always wanted to work in the theatre, which I did and did not really like. I am now a stock controller for a large store.

Ironically, I was just talking about this at work on this Friday past.
I was asked how I could hate a job I was so very good at. I answered, "I still just don't know what I want to do when I grow up"! In high school, my guidance counselor would ask me this repeatidly. Finally she said I had to think of something so that she had something to put on my record. I just blurted out that I wanted to be a mortician. She asked, "Why a mortician"? I said, "Because they get to drive a hearse"! But lo and behold......seems I hate touching a dead body.......and ya pretty much can't be squeamish at that if you want to be a mortician. It's unavoidable!
I sew for a living and I too make commercial furniture at a subsidiary of H@rd Rock's company. He knows what I do and he knows the quality of the work we produce. But just because I am good at sewing..........doesn't mean I like it! Truth be known.......I hate to sew! It's boring and you sit alot which is breaking my back. I have several girls that I work with. I'm the sewing room supervisor and I help with proto-typing. I'm not a pattern maker (nor do I want to be) but I have an eye for style, functionality (is that a word?..LOL!) and plausibility. And I can sew like the dickens! Plus, I make really good money now so I gave up my own biz of making exotic costumes for dancers. There is nary a place around my digs that have exotic dancers.........in N.J. they were on every other corner.
Why was I cursed so? I NEED to hit the lottery so I can get that stained glass shop made in my barn. Arrggggggg!

I had a variety of jobs after dropping out of college (a long story, but it wasn't because of grades!) joined the army, worked in bars/clubs etc, then became a window cleaner - that was Ace.. own boss, own hours..... pity I nearly broke my back doing it!! (Yes, literally!) Then I was working on a hypothermia-awareness campaign, and my then girlfriend suggested I had the right temperament to be a psychiatric nurse.. well, that was 16 years ago, and here we are! Still doing it, still (mostly) loving it.... and STILL not grown-up!! Ain't life FUN?!?!

Since about the age of 15 I wanted to work with people who have learning difficulties. I trained as a nurse at 171/2 yrs and have done the same thing ever since. Love working with folk with challenging behaviour . When I was very young I wanted to be a vet-----nearest I got to that was "assistant midwife" to a sow at my uncle's pig farm!

Growing up i had aspirations of becoming a cowboy, and after a stint in the military, Bam here I am a working cowboy, it was never a dream it was just something i knew i wanted to do, but some days it does seem like a dream, I don't punch a time clock, I can sleep late if i want(play @pixies) my office is the wide open, I have the best view of the world, and i don't have to deal with people and thier attitudes.

I wanted to be a chef or a mechanic, both of which I can never do for a job anymore because I injured my arm beyond repair working in a kitchen a few months ago. I guess it's good that I spent the last 8 years at the university learning how to wear a white collar to work... blah.

When I was *really* young, I wanted to be a princess when I grew up. Paper after paper, I'd draw "Princess Isabella" with my four- or five-year old hand. Of course, it didn't matter that my name *wasn't* Isabella, or that I hadn't been born to royalty. Thank you, Walt Disney.

Like most little boys I wanted to be a cop or fireman. After highschool I joined the Air Force I wanted to work on jet engines but they gave me crew chief (the whole plane) and now 15 yrs later I am head mechanic/ chief inspector for a cargo airline making great money. Hate to say it but the government was right when they assigned me my job in the AF worked out well.

In high school I wanted to be a photojournalist. The thought of working for "Dirt Bike" or "Hot Rod" magazines and drive neat new toys and writing my opinions on them seemed the coolest. Of course I never even made journalism school, instead I follow my Dad's footsteps into machining. I'm trying to finish a degree and work into engineering. Who knows maybe I can still find a way to get into wriring about some cool machines... maybe just not bikes or cars.
