It is 2.35 here for 85 octane, i think we are the only state that still has 85 octane, It is almost tourist season here too, so i know it will go up more..  |

You're right!I never heard of 85 Octane.The closest,that I've ever heard is 89.

We have quite a few 87 and 88 pumps here in Iowa. Our gas, of course, is blended with ethanol, and the ethanol-blended gas (midgrade at 89) is often a penny or two cheaper per gallon than the 87 octane.
Our 89 octane has dropped to $2.16/gallon in the last couple of days.
