I think the "I know nothing" gag was used once in an episode of Fawlty Towers, spoken by Manuel, if I'm not mistaken.
Now THAT is a script book I still need a copy of. Anyone want to get me an early birthday present?

Woo Hoo IAKG...I just love that song. One of these days I must get up the courage to do karaoke...But I'm not sure there's enough alcohol in the state for that.

Actually, I better come towards you, dadaist. Most often I have to go out-of-state to get a good karaoke venue.
And Eliza...believe me--it was at the end of a very long night. And NO, there were NOT any accompanying gestures.
