You can also find in Chattanooga....

The Station House Restaurant (spiffy, converted from the rail station's baggage room, usually with live entertainment and happy birthday serenade from a talented, and usually hot, serving staff)

Our fabulous little Warner Park Zoo where you can see a wide variety of animals and ladies might get their skirt nibbled on in the petting zoo.

There is also the Bluff View Art District located just a short walk from the Aquarium. There you can visit the beautiful mansion converted into what is now The Hunter Art Museum, browse little shops or snag some coffee at one of the cafes.

Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park located just over the line in Rossville Georgia.

Or maybe a day trip to the Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg.

We've lots of options to choose from. It just depends on if you want the big city or the little city with a little bit of history.

And yes, we do have Starbucks! You won't go without caffeine, great bbq or some(one)thing fun to do.

Lynchburg is a bit of a drive from Chattanooga I believe. It's literally only a little over an hour from where I live.

Is there someone in the area that'd be willing to look for perhapes hotels that might offer discounts for five or more rooms ... and scope out a nice restaurant for the group to have one special meal together usually the night before we break up and return home?

I don't know about a nice restaurant, but there's usually an Applebee's somewhere. Unless of course Lilith doesn't want a repeat with with mudslides lol.

Thanks Sis (ChainedHeart is my little sister ) for the additional info. I'm going to ask my father-in-law (who happens to work for a hotel) about his hotel or if he knows of any that might could help us in that area....there's another one too, that I just happen to have gone to school with the manager...so I will put some feelers out.

It looks like Chattanooga is going to be the place for PAGAN-11 and with all the supporters there should be no problem getting someone to step forward to be the organizer, DB.
Now if everyone except ShadowDancer will take one step backward, …………………… and we have a winner.

Chattanooga sounds like a location with interests enough and still not so much a tourist attraction to make it overly expensive for a lot of us. It seems to be within travel distance for many of our members, ISN'T in the middle of the desert, LILITH and Tennessee has reciprocity with Ohio.

If all remains stable this next year, I'm IN!
