Sorry .... don't know what happened to the end of June ... all of a sudden it's July 5 and I hadn't gotten around to posting the July Summer story challenge ....

OK, just so you know, you can still post to the June challenge .... for those of you who don't want to give up on your half written stories ... but here's the challenge for the month of July ... something a bit simpler ....

Think of your favorite work of art and let that be the inspiration for the story you share with Pixies ... It can be something famous (The Mona Lisa), something infamous (Ravell's Bolero - music), something only you and close friends/family know about (the macaroni covered box your child made in pre-school) ... whatever it is, share with us what the work is (either by title, description or a pic or link to a pic of the work) ... The fact that it is a work of art to you is enough to include it as such in this challenge .... you can mention it or not in the actual story, but please let us know what the inspiration was that brought you to tell your story.
