The Rape

Awake!
Pulled roughly from deep pools of sleep
Gasping as if drowned.

Nerves twang,
And strain for some familiar voice
Who holds me here,
Smells this way?

Eyes wide open and dry as sand.
No light.
To see who gropes,
Who violates.

Rough hands pull up and out.
Strong legs force thighs wide.

Hard mouth to stifle hope


Pain,
Unfair brutality,
Seers breast and cunt alike.
Sharp
Teeth bite tender nipples,
Hands tear flesh and hair.

Oh! Where is help?
This cowardly warrior wields his weapon
Invades.
Sliding into softness
Which would so welcome a gentler lover
Has done,
Often.

Ragged, raging breath
Hot.
Furious, hateful words spat like venom.
Weight...
Wait!
Shuddering pressure.
Warm wetness, could be blood
Hands gripped still
