With my ex I always wanted to be told. I didn't like the taste of him and I wasn't very excited to go down on him in the first place.

However, with my last partner, I was very excited when he didn't tell me. I'd been dying to experience it with him for very long. And I knew it would happen because I felt him tense under me and he started to twitch and swell as others have said. I swallowed everything except one drop that I missed that landed on his stomach. I licked that right up though ^_~ He tasted absolutely yummy, a little spicy actually =). It also got him out of bed quickly ^-^ so I think if I ever get the chance again, I'll be waking him up like that all that time.
