Heard it yesterday...about 15 x's! It's nonsensical...sounds like they are all nervous...and just plain NOT GOOD! I've heard better from garage bands! I'm kinda embarrassed for them actually!

I've not heard it ...I'l be sooo disappointed if they suck ass, cause I love Van Hagar. I checked and the tix to the concert coming to my area are sooo$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

i thought it was good, but also cheezy, figure for being apart so long they need to get in the groove again. i do like it better than van halen III though. i've been following this pretty close, sounds like they might do another complete album together again. I think they'll have the proper time to make some great songs then. i'll be seeing them if i can get the tickets, their playing a half hour away.

If the concerts are a CCE (Clear Channel Entertainment) production Lil, then the tix will always cost a small fortune! It's hard to find any good concerts that aren't CCE anymore. They seem to have cornered the market on American rock concerts (not to mention the airwaves). I wish the bands would go up against them (CCE) as Pearl Jam did with Ticket Master (awhile back) for charging so much for their concerts. Pearl Jam felt that Ticket Master was gouging the fans and they revolted!

I'm sorry to say that I've heard the new song (must have blocked the name out of my head) several more times yesterday and it hasn't begun to grow on me. Van Halen has intro'd songs before that took a while for me to warm up to. Example: "Jump". I didn't like "Jump" when it first came out, but I eventually saw the video and heard the song enough that it became one of my faves!

I'll admit I am partial to David Lee Roth and Van Halen, but it doesn't mean I don't like any VH with Sammy. "Right Now" is one of my all time fave songs! I keep trying to open up to this new one, but so far it ain't happening!

I'm still crazed that Sammy went back to them so easily. They treated him and David like shit when they kicked them out of the band. Maybe I'm holding a grudge and not liking the song is how it's being manifested! OMG! I think I had a breakthrough! I'll get back to you after I hear the song again today! Cross your fingers!

I may never get to hear the new VH...the only classic rock station in town never plays ANYTHING from this century...
as for why Sammy would go back with em...lots of moola to be made on these comeback tours...guess he needs it to pay off his speeding tickets...

And that is precisely why I am sooooooo perplexed as to why he went back! Sammy had his own (new) band! He has been touring since he left Van Halen. He has this tequila he is selling and he has a club (as far as I know)...AND...he said loud and clear in many an interview that he would ONLY ever go back with Eddie and the gang if he was so broke that he was reduced to living on the streets!

When they took David back and then ousted him again, just a week after...I thought..."this band is in the toilet and the remaining members are all assholes"! I'll just treasure the songs they gave us before all this, "you're out...you're in...you're out and he's in" shit started!

I dunno...I'm pretty jaded as to why Mike, Alex, and Eddie think they are "all that" without Sammy or David! Eddie is one of the best lead guitarist's on the planet...but the band would have been NOTHING without Diamond Dave or Sam Speed (<---I made that up on the spot...can you tell?...lol!)!

SIDENOTE: Heard the song again today...Still NOTHING! I tried harder this time...I swear I did!

And that's precisely my point...Sammy has been a real whore lately, touring with Dave, selling tequila, he even appeared on some home makeover show (wth a rock star theme, but still...) I can only conclude that the guys threw more money at him than he could turn down...make no mistake, these bands make more juice touring the reunion circuit than they ever made from recording deals!
