My dumb ass fell asleep on the beach
Any one got any suggestions of something creamy I could slather all over my body to get some relief?

actually.... tho this sounds weird... soak a brown paper bag in vinegar... lay it over your body... that will remove the discomfort... okay.. okay... you might smell like a dill pickle afterwards... but believe me.. it does actually work.

Here's a bit of trivia I picked up somewhere years ago .... a sunburn/tan is somewhat water soluble for the first 24 hours .... so if you get into a cool shower ASAP and stay there as long as possible .... you actually wash some of it right off your body. Of course after that apply the aloe and vinegar/paperbag treatments too! .... hope you feel better soon!!!

My oldest son has red hair and gets burned just walking outside. Needless to say, he loves baseball and we use a spray bottle with 1/2 water and 1/2 white vinegar. It stings at first but does take the burn out.
I also like to use Noxema on my burns. Cools and moisturizes.
Hubby says man juice would work good too!

Thanks lovies for the great ideas! I have some aloe gel but my plants all froze a couple years ago. I think I'll try to bathe in the vinegar then slather myself in aloe gel and by then I should smell so yummy that any man would be dying to coat me in man juice

that was going to be my suggestion, I have no idea if it has any soothing effects for sunburn but was more than willing to provide for testing

Lilith---This works for me.I'm blonde&have light skin.We have an
above ground pool mostly for my Grandchildren.I'm not much of a swimmer.I usually just get wet & float around on a float!I keep a
wet facecloth over my eyes.Once I get a base,I'm allright!After I
get out.I cover myself with something like Vasoline Intensive Care
or any store brand. It moisturises your skin & keeps you from burning.I get red that night but by morning it is tan.Over the summer,I get really tan,but never sunburn.I use no sunblock whatever, but never burn!As far as taking the pain out,I don't know.I haven't burned in years.I slowly acustom my motorcycle
racing scars,a little bit at a time.Scar tissue burns very easily until
you have a base! Not the most advisable, but it works for me.I have, also, had my wife try it & it works for her.I guess it keeps the skin from drying out! Irish
