Los Angeles: The actress daughter of Hollywood tough guy Clint Eastwood can't be making her father's day by baring all in the US skin magazine Playboy.

Alison Eastwood, whose famous dad cast her in a major role in his 1997 film Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, appears nude in February's edition of the publication.

Among the other things that Eastwood, who will appear in a new film called Poolhall Junkies later this year, revealed was that the Dirty Harry series is her favourite among her father's flicks.

"He's such a badass, but a subtle badass," she told Playboy of her father's role in the films that made him a superstar and popularised his catchphrase: Make my day.

In his 47-year career, the 72-year-old actor, director and producer has taken starring roles in 44 films and appeared in 55.



In addition to the Dirty Harry series that began in 1971, Eastwood also starred in Westerns such as The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, A Fistful of Dollars, and Unforgiven, which he also directed.

Also among his hit movies are the chilling 1971 thriller Play Misty For Me, which also launched his directorial debut.

Eastwood also has served as mayor of the trendy California town of Carmel.
