I was going to say are you sure it's tofu and not some bean concoction? I have some boca burgers collecting freezer burn in my freezer, and I think they are more of a bean variety.

I think tofu is made of soy...the source is soybeans.

There are also bean boca burgers, and I like those better...but they're not what my husband bought. The spicy black bean ones are good!
