degrees.....It's going to be too hot to roast a turkey without roasting ourselves. I am actually going to have to turn the AC on
Do you think it's ok to just have salad and fruit for Thanksgiving?

Bring your family over to my house, Lil. They're predicting rain turning to snow.
If you could come, you'd be welcome. What's 6 more when I already have 17 coming??? And I bought a 30 lb turkey...... Then you wouldn't need to cook!

Bonnie, mosquitoes all year, Charley, hotter in your kitchen than in your oven at Thanksgiving, Frances, alligators that eat your dog, Ivan, Christmas carolers in bathing suites, Karl………………..
Guess my ancestors weren’t so stupid after all.

I've always heard of deep frying the turkey, but I'm not sure how I could handle that...If my mom ever deep fried the turkey I'd skip it lol
Wonder who came up with that idea in the first place???? It's definately creative because I never would have dreamed it up!

We got 34F right now and no clue what will really happen on Thanksgiving. I gave up trusting the weather peeps.
I know a guy who would wrap the bird w/stuffing inside in tin foil and put it in the BBQ outside for our 4th of July campouts. 3-4 hours I think it took, but don't quote me on that.

salad and fruit and sliced turkey sandwiches, this way you at least still get the triptophan (sp???) sleepy buzz. i hate cooking with the oven in the heat. if you can't indirect grill it how about a hole in your lawn, do it like a pig roast sans the gross looking apple stuffed in it's itty-bitty beak. actually sans the whole frikking head i guess.
