In the stupid but ever-present pressure of 'new fashion', it is seldom the radical change results with an improvement of something more pleasant and beautiful to behold. This insane and mercenary trend most often produces reversal of something attractive, that pleases the eye, something beautiful, desirable and something you want to be close too.

On rare occasions these 'fashions trends' are separated by something that does bring joy and happiness such as stockings and the garter belt or the mini skirt. Even though they may only last for a couple short years, they give us images we can cherish every day of and hold dear in our memories forever.

Thankfully Japan is giving us one of these golden eras.

Snopes made it sound like you really don't see those skirts on the street (rats! ). Probably just haven't been available long enough. Gotta admit, they are attention getters!!

Of course, some of the leggings I've seen young ladies wear reveal quite a bit, too! Some are almost translucent, too!
