...but its a good one anyway.
The therapist went into the patient's hospital bed to perform a bedside interview. The moment the therapist came into the room, the patient immediately came to attention and sat ramrod straight in bed, answering all questions with "Sir" before and after, military style -- as indeed the wiry old gentleman was. Although his balding head and wrinkled face betrayed his age, his strong, fit body and bearing announced that the former Marine had not let the years serve as an excuse to lessen the iron discipline of many years on the drill field and the battleground.
"So," the therapist asked, torwards the end of the interview, "do you drink?"
"Sir, no Sir," the elderly Marine replied.
"Do you smoke?" the therapist asked again.
"Sir, no Sir," the Marine answered.
"When was the last time you had sex?" the therapist queried.
"Sir, 1945, Sir," the Marine stated.
"You don't drink, you don't smoke, and you haven't had sex since 1945?" the therapist asked, disbelieving. "Don't you think maybe you should relax a bit, sometimes?"
"Sir," the Marine said respectfully, "my father was an alcoholic, and so I don't drink. My mother died of lung cancer from smoking, and so I don't smoke. As for sex, Sir," the Marine began...
"Yes, the last time I had sex was 1945, but, " quickly consulting his watch, "well, it's only 2010 hours now, Sir..."
