Or so they claim

Do you have a favorite music video now days? Is there an old one that you just love? What video networks do you watch?

I have no less than 10 available on my digi-cable but mainly watch MTV2 or VH-1..Every great once in awhile I watch VH-1 Classics.

Just curious if people watch them or do we just take for granted they are around?

Hard to find a music video channel that actually plays music videos anymore. Mostly filled up with reality stuff, series, and documentaries now days.

I do like watching some country videos on CMT. Also like VH1 Classics with classic rock.

I mostly watch VH1 Classic for all of the 80's vids.
My favorites would be ZZ Top and Van Halen with Diamond Dave though

I always wanted to be one of the ZZ Top babes!!! Just imagine what my parents were thinking when I would say that to them..... Well I have the hot rods but not the hot legs!

I like watching country music videos...always seem to have some sappy story for me to get all emotional over.

My all time fave video is STILL...

AC/DC's "Thunderstruck"!

But then...you knew that...didn't you?

My second fave is U2's "Street With No Name"...when they took over a rooftop in New York and didn't have a parade permit and Bono got busted while stopping traffic in doing the song! DAMN! I woulda loved to have been passing on the street when that broke out!

Billy Joel did a more "staged" video (can't remember what song it was) where he and his band are in a basement recording studio and it seems hot in there so they open the door/windows (one in the same cause it's a ground floor studio) and start jamming and Christy Brinkley is dancing around with her and Billy's baby in her arms...and everyone in the street comes towards the sound of the music and it turns into a block party! Pretty cool vid!

I always liked the "Right Now" video by Van Haggar...also thought "Jeremy" by Pearl Jam was a powerful song & video...

MTV & VH1 reaqlly suck these days...funny that I get nostalgic for the early 80s when we could just watch videos endlessly...

Oh man.. I loved MTV in the mid '80s. Before the game shows and reality shows and the BS. Nowadays you rarely see a complete video.

Some classic vids I remember...

Beat It, Thriller - MJ
Don't Let's Start - They Might Be Giants
Like a Virgin - Madonna
Hurts so Good - John Cougar (before Mellencamp was added )
Sledgehammer - Peter Gabriel

I used to watch MTV all the time. Too bad it sucks now.
