Need More Info...
in order to help you. What kind of cassette is it? DDS1/2/3? Is it the tape drive scsi, colorado, etc.? Does it connect to the ide interface or does it have its own controller? Please provide more inof and be specific. Don't worry about being too wordy, the more info the better.

It is a cassette tape from a mini recorder. It has nothing to do with the computer.

O.K., I get it. You will need to have a video capture card installed in your computer (ATI seems to manufacture most that are installed on newer mid-to-low computer models). Depending on the type of equipment you have, the output goes to the video input on the card. You then need software to capture the images to disk. There is a ton of howto info on the net. Go to google and type in "video capture card" and you'll get lots of helpful hints.
Check out this link. I think you'll find it useful: http://www.videoguys.com/vidcap.htm

Sure...
but we'll need a female to fight over. Or perhaps a drag queen? I only read the orignal poster's reply, didn't see yours.
