I miss my parents.
I miss my brother and the fun we used to have sharing jokes over the phone on weekends.
I miss my wife's folks, they were truly wonderful people.
I miss some of the fun 'get-a-way' weekends my wife and I used to take.
There were three of us couples that have been friends for well over thirty years. One of the men died and I miss him. The rest of us still get together, but, he is always missed.
