On out trip to the states in '03, 9 of 25 on a guided tour were randomly selected by some
homeland protection computer for full checks. These checks included taking our shoes off
so they could be inspected separately, the soles of our feet were patted down and everything
in our carry-on baggage was individually checked and opened.
These inspections occurred each time we boarded an aircraft, same nine, same line, "but it's just a random check sir."
We were checked a total of 14 times, and each time it was a random search.
Never did work out who it was that alerted them to Oldfart bin Travelling and his associates.
