On a serious note:

"he managed to climb over an airport fence, topped by three strands of barbed wire, without injury"

this causes a bit of concern... if this poor misguided soul acomplished this.. what about those that are hell bent on terror? Just a thought to consider...

I think someone needs to sharpen that barbed wire at the very least.. .
