Dan smiles at Grace. "I was with the army air corp in France during the war. Now with peace I am off back home to run the family silver mine." He seems to frown at the idea of going home. He gives Grace her drink and winks and goes back to chatting with Olga who seems none to pleased with this Grace woman. After the dinner Dan and Olga leave together to go on deck. They walk up onto the boat deck and Olga interlocks her arm with Dan's. They walk along the deck chatting and smoking.
