I think my more recent horribly blonde moment was about 6 years ago when I moved in with my husband's family (we had gotten engaged, but lived over an hour apart). My now MIL was saying something about cleaning up the basement (which I had been in) for her youngest kid to have a New Year's party. I just looked at her and said, "This house has a basement?" Then she said, yeah, runs the whole length of the house, and I was like... wow, I feel blonde. I've BEEN in the basement.
