Make sure that your Norton (if you have it) is updated (you shoud get it) that is very important!!!

Like the ladies said before Adaware and Spybot are some essential tools to have...you can dowload both free from CNET...read the instructions carefully though - some of that stuff can intertwine into your regristry and you can delete stuff that you truly need.
