We have a dog named Hunter, a mostly Brittany Spaniel, who we adopted from an animal rescue organization. Unfortunately, Hunter is now an outside dog, having discovered after we got him early last year that all four of us are highly allergic to dogs.

I did have two cats. One I named Christine after Christine in Phantom of the Opera, one of my most favorite things in the whole world. She died of kidney disease about two years ago. Her counterpart, Tigger, ran off, never to be seen again.
