I don't spend much time sitting at the bar any more, but in what i think of as my reptilian tavern days  , (lounge lizard  ) I had stringent requirements myself. Especially when traveling.
1. She'd have to say hi.
2. She'd have to be able to sit on her stool unaided.
OK-  No. 2 depended on how late it was.
