I think that many will be surprised to know that the word Bukkake originally did not have a sexual connotation. The word is Japanese in origin and loosely translated means "to splash" or "heavy squirt". There's even a soup in Japan called Bukkake (Odun). Anyway, the term got it's sexual connotation in the mid-to-late eighties when a couple of companies in Japan started to market videos to facial and semen enthusiasts. These original videos were highly ritualistic and usually featured a young lady, often clad in a school-girl uniform, receiving facials after facials, usually in a corporate setting. In the original form the recipient of these...showers are usually submissive and do not participate. She exists solely to be the receptacle of the sperm showers. As the genre grew more popular and spread to America and other countries, the recipient of the showers became more active and usually participates by giving oral stimulation, hand jobs, etc.
I must confess that of all the genres out there, I am perhaps most put off by Bukkake (especially in its original, ritualistic, form) because of its implicit and explicit objectification of the recipient.
