After I uninstalled Norton.....my Start button still reads Start!
Oh........and the error message to make me think Norton was part of the problem said something to the effect that (and I'm paraphrasing here)....there is something missing in my anti-virus program that will not allow my computer to boot up completely.......so it came up in safe mode. Sounds to me like Norton got corrupted somehow......by Yahoo, maybe?...and then all hell broke loose!

I just installed Nortion's too..........I get a message at start up......can't find nortion's rescue disc.........and I said.....WTF !!!!!
