While I can understand the origin of "built like a Greek God" - they were uniformly well built; I cannot help but wonder who was in a position, if I may use the term, to comment about their sexual prowess. Leda's input would be questionable, as Zeus's physique was, I am told, unusual at the time.

Other than trashy Web sites, do you know if there is there a historical basis for the notion?
